I don't see anything special etc. . Just hype and over zealous parental units..
If you do see what I don't please don't hesitate and inform me cos I (with my amateur eyes) just don't see it.

I'd like to think that would influence any artist painting these.

Its not my intention to judge the art harshly or attack it, I wouldn't do it of any artist, (let alone a child's) we all have preferences and opinions after all but I just don't get it.

Obviously my uneducated opinion would suggest that the work of a prodigy would not look like work done by a 7 year old. But what do I know.

At home I get my kids to draw bands they're into ; weezer, foo fighters, Ramones etc.
They're pretty good
But they're doing what I say, and as such I would never pass it off as art.
And they're a damn sight better than this

I agree with Kultur, we should be pointing our collective finger at the gallery rather than the "artist". |
