Also, standard items, in my experience, arrive not much slower than priority. the only drawback is that there's no insurance for standard, so i only do it if I'm shipping something that isn't worth too much, like my own prints haha

USPS always tells you that you need to do priority to get tracking info but it's not true. The customs form you put on anything shipped international has a number (usually starts with LV and ends in US) that can be used for tracking as well. That's what I had to pay about a month agoโฆ said it would be tracked, with signature updates etc and arrive in just four days.
Unable to track and arrived in 9 daysโฆ not worth the money.
Prior to that I risked sending a print of the same value marked at ยฃ100 at the request of the buyer and it arrived sooner and only cost ยฃ18 to post, but it was an uncomfortable wait.
It's the insurance/tracking that's the killer!
