Anyone here climb Killmanjaro/visit Tanzania ?, by Pipes on May 15, 2014 21:17:03 GMT 1, I climbed Kilimanjaro last year (January 2013) and I can honestly say it's the best thing I've ever done in my life.

All the advice about safety etc need to be adhered to but just get there one day, the most amazing experience of my life

Interesting discussion here; I appreciate the responses.
I guess after all of this my main hang up is to do Thailand or do Africa as I hear both are amazing. Is Thailand THAT amazing for those that have been there?
Ultimately, it may come down to if I can find people to go. I talked with a buddy who went to Africa and he recommended I go with someone especially if going into Kenya. He also would be able to set me up with a local he became friends with over there that would drive us around kenya and Tanzania pretty much just showing us the best spots for a mere $50 a day!
Or mix it up entirely and go to South America lol
