He is an amazing person that I have the pleasure of personally knowing and he is very humble
and extremely appreciative of the success he is currently enjoying. He can easily stop painting the
streets at this point and cash in at the galleries & online with prints, sculptures, and other artistic mediums
he desires, but yet he continues to fly all around the world painting the streets without any commercialization or release associated with it. STIK is deeply involved with Charities and understands his role
and outside perception of the naysayers in the big picture of the art world for a guy who is
perceived as only drawing stick figures and society as a hole. If more artists conducted themselves like STIK our scene would be a lot better off for it. Sorry for the dissertation but he is that special of a person and too many times keyboard jockeys make statements without actually knowing the individual they write about but I can assure you that he is one of the good guys.

At the same time, to find a stickman engaging is quite something. But they seem to be smiling at you with nothing but fun. Which is also quite something as they don't even have mouths! If nothing else, getting the adult world so engaged with stickman characters has to be art in itself no?
For those that "don't get it", maybe go to one of his shows and be around the pieces and see if it changes your mind. You will have to let go of the idea its "just" a stickman first though. Kinda jades your opinion otherwise.
