Is there a frame size "golden ratio" ?, by gatecrasher on May 31, 2014 18:43:28 GMT 1, I've got a piece of art that I'm getting framed up. It's 450x600 mm and I don't want any mount.
I know there is a golden ratio for art to mount size but is there a guestimation like .. 600mm height needs a 38mm frame width etc .. or is all personal taste ?

Apart from that it dépends on how you want to display the image.
