Banksy Signed 'Have A Nice Day' Sleazenation - Framed, by mikehaspey on Jul 2, 2014 11:29:46 GMT 1, I'm kind of putting the feelers out here and if an offer tempts me I might part with this, I love it and it's on the wall but if I can trade or put money towards something I want then I might be able to let go!
It's an original 2003 Sleazenation poster, unfolded and signed. It came from a performer who attended the Semi Permanent show in Oz and was gifted it.
I have emails from the original owner explaining how they got it and a response from Pest Control (doesn't have and can't get a COA for this)
It's not in perfect condition, typical early Banksy piece that wasn't treated with the love it deserved, numerous small creases etc and has had Blu Tac on the rear - doesn't show through.
Had it framed to conservation standards, all reversible and UV, mounted on foam board (reversible) in a white box frame with background to match the green of the choppers. This looks great and you can honestly hardly see the creases etc with it in this frame.
I would be interested in trading towards a US Banksy piece, money added as required.
Possible trade for Dolk pieces but that's a possible.
Will consider cash offers although I'm unsure of the value of this piece.

No idea mate, the normal ones (folded and unsigned) are really hard to find, I did have one a year or so back but not seen any come up since then.

Well like many non PC pieces it's based on what the buyer is willing to pay and of course provenance of the piece, if singed. I've received many temping offers but that being said, mine is the only one I know of with the endorsement and letter from the Sleazenation and POW co-founder which for some adds a bit of value. |

True he wasn't nearly as famous, but big enough for them to do a large fold out of his choppers. Bottom line is the person who co-founded Sleaze and who arranged the foldout and Banksy signing has vouched for this piece and hand signed a letter to me stating these exact facts. He still to this day lives in London and has a rock solid reputation. Also no mystery that Sleaze was owned by Swinstead who also owned POW at the time and they both shared offices. Whatever the take on it... it looks great on the wall
