Tommy Ramone, by Stoko on Jul 12, 2014 21:28:36 GMT 1, My all time favourite band along with the Clash.
As a kid I listened to Abba and the Wombles, and used to play their albums on 45 as I liked the tunes but thought the music was too slow. (For you youngsters, this was on a 'gramophone', which was like an iPod but with big black things spinning round).
Then at a family friends' new years party aged 11 one of their kids played me 'Sheena' and everything in life immediately made sense. Saw them loads but never with Tommy.
You want to know something funny? I'm skint at the moment and have been selling stuff off. One of these things was a copy of 'Sheena' fully signed by the band. I sold it two days agoโฆ DOH!!!!!

Tommy Ramone, by fattyramone on Jul 15, 2014 0:19:13 GMT 1, With 3 of them dying of some cancer related illness , and with Dee Dee dying early through drugs (so we'll never know what would have claimed him naturaly) it makes you wonder if that sometime in their past they weren't all commonly exposed to some cruddy , decaying rehearsal space giving off something toxic that eventualy claimed them all.
That or just sheer bad luck
