I know for the likes of Morrisey a print is not enough, but for us mortals the guy does not release enough work. He states on his website that he can only work part time on his paintings as it doesn't pay him enough, but surely in the age of the POW print madness (and BRP's print exhibition) he could produce one piece and get some prints done.... hopefully in an edition bigger than 50!?... are you with me?!! I know Top is.

Josh had told me hiself prior to purchasing either of these pieces that he felt that some of his earlier work sometimes lacks the high level of detail contained in his more recent images. Any one who has looked at his website will know that this is beacause his style has evolved and continues to do so.
These two pieces are drawings from 2004 and 2006 and are both to my eye extremely detailed. It is obvious a lot of care has gone into each of them. On close inspection the Rockabye piece actually looks like it could be half painted and half drawn, the quality is that good, it is impossible to tell.
I would highly recommend the work of Josh to any of his fans. Good luck with finding anything at the moment though!

Just thought I would chime in.
Glad the two drawings went to a good home!
The earlier drawings were done entirely with pencil, the later drawings were a combination of gouache and pencil, and the most recent "drawings" are created entirely with gouache.

Glad you like the work, yes it is a bit darker. I have been researching the relationship between, Bush's organization in relation to the rise of Blackwater USA and political issues.
Prices.
My current (US) prices are:
12"x12" acrylic on panel $1,200.00
18"x24" acrylic on panel $2,400.00
30"x40", acrylic on canvas $4,800.00
I hope this helps.
I have started on the next body of work for the Red Dot Fair and the solo show at the Joshua Liner Gallery in NY
