Let's hope they can keep a good percentage of the 27000 coming back for more. Yes it us fella. All ways been a good crowd at the City. My utmost respect to all the fans that boycotted Northampton taught both the club and the council a lesson. More fans at away games than home brilliant. The move talk the home crowd from 17,000 ish to just over 1.5.
so great to see the City back in Cov. Like Pressley and with a few quid in a Jan he will do alright.
cheers Supercockle looking forward to seeing a game when I'm back. Been missing it.

27,000 watch City back in Coventry...., by Ruggs on Sept 7, 2014 9:25:39 GMT 1, Always had a soft spot for Coventry for some reason. Pleased they're back at the Ricoh and playing in front of big crowds again. Should easily be in the Championship and arguably the Premier League. Glad one of our players, Nouble (ITFC), got the winner. Let's all sing together, Play up, Sky Blues...

Fair play to the fans that continued to watch from the hill at Northampton and refused to give sisu any money. when I went to get tickets there were 4 Leicester fans in front of me queuing. (I didn't know at the time) and I said to them finally were coming home and they told me they supported Leicester and they were gettin tickets just to gloat when cov lost. nothin wrong with a bit of rivalry but that's just sad

27,000 watch City back in Coventry...., by Invaded 420 on Sept 7, 2014 10:41:41 GMT 1, Ha your not wrong mate. Like you said if it had gone in he'd have been snapped up! Hopefully now there back home they can settle down and put all the stuff off the pitch out of there heads an concentrate on doing the job. They need to start scoring some more goals. But after the performance Friday I think that will come. Haynes played his heart out. And so did mcquoid when he came on. They have deffinately got potential!! Sounds good.

Agreed - used to live there when I was very little and my dad would take us to what I think was one of the first family stands in the country. It was the mid-Seventies when Terry Yoriath and Tommy Hutchison were playing. Great memories.

27,000 watch City back in Coventry...., by dave5150 on Sept 7, 2014 12:07:36 GMT 1, Great to see them back home (well, as close to home as it could be without Highfield Road!) They were the closest Premier League team to me whilst growing up and went a few times each year. My brother was at the game on Friday and said the atmosphere was amazing. I think the last Cov match I went to was maybe the David Busst testimonial.

27,000 watch City back in Coventry...., by Coach on Sept 7, 2014 18:14:38 GMT 1, Agree it is great to see city back at home. I work in cov, with a lot of cov fans, and I know how unhappy they have been. Not too sure about the statement that they always got good home crowds. I thought attendence was one of their problems, since demotion from the prem. I certainly know that the Ricoh looked pretty empty when I went when they were in the champ and palace were there too. You're grounds too big for you was a fairly constant chant. I do hope that now they are back, the fans keep going and support them back up to the top flight.
