Doesn't seem to be any kind of market for Micallef prints. ebay completed listings shows prints being relisted at below cost for weeks on end with no buyers.
I've now brought 3 Micallef prints in the last few weeks all less than 350. I plan to hang them all in my hallway. I'm not expecting to ever resell them but if I did I can't see there every being any profit since they are quite 'dark' images and often don't get pass the art police (aka the other half) also the cost of framing each at around 220 would also never be recovered.
I'm just giving someone an option of recovering some cash. You win some, you lose some.
