Originally bought two t-shirts, as i was going to give one to a pal. Then asked to be refunded the one for my pal, because he wasn't going to wear it if not banksy. Donated said money, because it was earmarked for that anyway. Then i was told i won a t-shirt. Messaged him my info. Only ever received one shirt. At the end of the day HOPEFULLY my money helped some people drink fresh water, and if not, then that is BNE's cross to bare... I didn't buy the t-shirts to feel good about myself, i bought them because i wanted a bit of banksy. I have no shame saying it.
Didn't buy a print because the image was garbage, and BNE ruined his image in my eyes by that time. I a surehe did some good things in his career, but then he did this REALLY bad and really DISHONEST or at least really MANIPULATIVE thing... And to me, that means game over... As the saying goes, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...

The only problem is that the money was returned from the original charity, and as far as anyone knows, is just sitting in BNE's bank account. I don't remember seeing anything about the money (besides money from the initial Faile, Invader, and Obey shirts) going to any charity, or BNE doing any charitable work.
Sure, he posted a couple of pictures of BNE stickers in photos of poor looking neighboorhoods, but has he actually done any charity work? I really hope he does, and that the money goes to help those in need. But so far, I haven't seen any proof of that happening. I'd be genuinely happy to be proven wrong. In some ways, I'm actually rooting for the guy, but a little transparency goes a long way
