If you could achieve more / have a happier life by having the money then sell.

If you have no other plans with the money and enjoy the image then leave it on the wall and do just that.

If you go for option 2 make sure it is insured for what it would cost you to buy another. I would have thought that figure would be around 30k.

I'd keep it, if I were in your situation.

If you were to sell it, I would time it w/ the HBO doc in mid-November.

Someone has an unsigned listed for 21k on ebay (which probably won't happen)...BUT I would presume there will be more uninformed wealthy people who will catch the doc, and would say "hey, that'd be fun to buy, I'll pay whatever."  Selling now, or on this message board-you'd probably only sell for its true price because you'd be selling to sharps, as opposed to the uninformed. 

You should list it for 40-45k on ebay in mid November---but negotiate a deal off the site, to avoid massive 10% fee.

Suddenly al kinds of rare and scarce Banksy pieces come up for sale...

I would hold any signed banksy prints especially this one unless you need the money. Signed GWB is the grail for many fans and will only become more and more difficult to prise from people's collections in future, sky's the limit on value I would say. Pass it on to your kids

Take £25k and go straight down the casino and put it all on red!! No, wait! Don't take my advise.

Feel free to prove me wrong but I have a feeling that someone was just seeking attention.

Its a good one to sign over to the kids later, Could put them in a position you wont see in your lifetime. 30k isnt big money, it goes fast.

Sell it now mate, get the best price you can for it and have a good time, its only a picture.

I cant see prices falling anytime soon as its supply and demand with no more supply forthcoming? End of 2011 and we made a bit of profit from selling a property and I was trying to talk my wife into buying one for an investment as it will be one of his most valuable/iconic prints in years to come in my opinion.. It was 14k pounds with a gallery, but we passed as it's a lot of cash.. If you don't need the money I would be keeping it, even if prices drop a little you will still be up.. or your not sort of cash maybe cash in and enjoy it, holidays with kids etc.... I'm becoming increasingly skeptical about how successful/well-received this documentary will be; I watch a ton of documentaries (including HBOdocs, which I consider a subset). HBOdocs over the past few years have extremely fluctuated in quality. They have always had very great documentaries, but lately they have been letting in a significant amount of sub-par documentaries (along with their usual great ones) either due to a buzz-word or perhaps just plain lack of content.

I simply hope the documentary will be good. And I sincerely hope that no one will view the documentary itself as being a creation by Banksy.
