Banksy framing questions London, by martigny89 on Sept 22, 2014 7:16:59 GMT 1, Hi all,
Am in the process of buying a banksy print and have a couple questions I hope you can help me with. Firstly could you please recommend a good framer in London.
Secondly, am buying because I love it and will frame/keep it but should I for some unfortunate reason need to sell in future does framing diminish the value of the print?
Thanks a lot

Banksy framing questions London, by Hubble Bubble on Sept 22, 2014 8:07:05 GMT 1, I use MrFrameman and have always had great service. I know he picks up and delivers in London. There are others, Pauliframes and John Jones, I think, that are physically in London.
As for framing - what Andy said… have it done properly and it will enhance the print. Just ensure it's reversible and easily unframed (any of the above will do this as a matter of course). Enjoy the print on your wall. It's what they're for.
Now… I really must get around to having some stuff framed!!!!

Banksy framing questions London, by Deleted on Sept 22, 2014 8:13:37 GMT 1, If you're spending 5k + on a print I'd ensure your get assurances of the materials used in the framing, a full detailed invoice and spend a decent amount of money on the job (500+)
My experience? Don't believe all you read here.

John Jones is super expensive, but are very good and you know you're getting top notch work. I think my last two prints there were about 500+ or so but are framed to perfection with detailed lists of what's behind the glass. Highly recommend for prints of substantial value.
