FS: BAST Old Spice (Acrylic Paint on Paper), by Harveyn on Sept 24, 2014 9:35:48 GMT 1, I am selling this huge stunning heavily worked and hand painted BAST Old Spice.
Title: "BAST" Medium: Mixed Media - Acrylic Paint and Screen on thick art Paper Size: 45" x 32" Edition: 32 (each unique) Signed, numbered & titled in pencil Year Produced: 2008 COA: Gallery COA signed by BAST
Price: £1450 delivered UK (Add £50 for worldwide shipping).
This work is filled with hand finished painting by BAST making each one of the edition unique. As with all BAST works this is "Artist Condition" as he does like to get hands on with these works (images of the back below show the extent of the paint and layers applied). The major of this edition have evidence of the artist's handling so if you are looking for a pretty picture with no signs of handling please avoid this work. I think the phrase is filled with BAST love and dirtiness!!!
The following link shows the extent that artist condition does applied to on these works......

That said I would say mine is pretty close to BAST perfection. There are no dings, dents or creases and the only thing I can find amongst the layers of hand painting is one tiny piece of edge damage (paper loss) which as the edge is painted clearly happened prior to the artist work on this. I mean tiny (please see last image). The line at the very edge is not a crease IMO as there is no texture its just the colour wash that has been applied. Its BAST perfection in my eyes.
