If you spent anytime on this forum you would know that this type of flip is frowned upon. If you had it for a year or two... Hell even 3 months, no one would care. But this went on sale yesterday and you have a 60% mark up.

Spent hours in line and money on gas... It also says obo after the price, my man... If you don't like the price you can always offer what you think is fair. And this is also why I loved how CH released his NYC print, and think others should do the same - you go to the show because you love his art, and the print is a pleasant surprise. Doubt many profiteers are going to opening night art shows when there is no news of a prospective print release; helps all the fans get first dibs for the most part.

Group 1 - buy the print with no desire for the image, no real care for the artist; simply meant to immediately list on ebay for profit.
Group 2 - buy the print because they know the artist, think it might go up in value or be worth more so they feel out the hype and buy based on that. sometimes end up keeping the print.
Group 3 - likes the image, but isn't obsessed; buys the print both knowing that they're glad keeping the print since they like it, but also would be extremely willing to sell the print for $200 or so more since it isn't that great to them.
Group 1 is the group that I have a problem with. The other two I don't necessarily agree with (Group 3 is mostly harmless), but I think Group 1 would be better off not existing in the print buying game.
