I think there are pros and cons for both metal and wood. I would just make sure the inside drawers have not been painted, as this can give off gases. I lined the inside of the drawers with AO acid free mountboards.

That is what I do. I also use mountboards on top to help flatten prints inside the drawers before framing.

The best advice I was given was to keep an eye on eBay and thereโs often good quality wooden ones come up, some require a little work but if your able to do it yourself your save a lot rather than buying a new one ๐

Its not bad quality for the price and easy to put together, they have a couple of sizes (a1/a0) and you can select the number of draws you would like.

I saw the drawers they are really nice but expensive. 2000โฌ including all the elements for 5 drawers. From my point of view you need and it was displayed like this so 4000โฌ. The wood is beautiful.

I think you should probably remove the bar holding the prints down.
Over time it could dent the paper.
