Art Print Storage in Plan Chests, by Fake on Nov 25, 2021 10:06:13 GMT 1, Nicely done and put together! Does it get hit with direct sun thru the window? That would be the only other thing I'd worry about.Wish I had the space for one, but current place space is limited. Why would that be an issue if the prints are in a chest? It could get very hot in the summer and cook the prints

Art Print Storage in Plan Chests, by Richy Rich on Nov 25, 2021 10:23:31 GMT 1, I'm trying to get my head round the whole chest storage thing. Do people rotate what's in their chest and on the walls? Or do people just buy prints, stick them in the chests to never see the light of day and then flip them 2 years later?
Just seems a bit foreign to me. If I like something enough to buy it I stick it on the wall. I can understand why dealers would invest in them, but as an average collector I can't understand why I'd ever use one? Each to their own I guess.

Art Print Storage in Plan Chests, by Charlesworth on Nov 25, 2021 14:37:54 GMT 1, I have a plan chest and its one of the best things I've bought since I started collecting (excluding art)
I tend to use drawers for different purposes, one for odd bits for packing - tape, box knife, tissue paper etc another for stickers, COA's, books & receipts etc. one for flattening out prints freshly unrolled from a tube under glass weights. a couple for storing prints, mainly waiting to be framed.

This cabinet for plans are located in France... It's easier to pick up them directly here in france, that's why i speak french.
If you live abroad and you are interested, you can send PM. I let you manage the shipping.

Way to be loved guys, vive la France Of course, if you can't tell from the image what's for sale, you can always use Google translate. Not sure this is a ' 100% english' forum, there's a global userbase here, and thankfully many people do speak more than one language - and know to capitalise 'English' and 'French' in this one. Je te souhaite bon journรฉe Of course the user didn't kill anyone. I dare you to find one post in any other language. It's a matter of principle to think that your languange must work for all. This is a globally used forum, and it is common courtesy to share posts, sales and general opinion in a language that is fruible to all the menbers. Easy as that

Not sure if serious!!!
All this talk of principles and common courtesy whilst having zero decency to simply accept it for what it is and move on.
It's not a great look.

Wait what??
Are you offended by the use of another members use Of their own native language on an open forum? Ok ok ok, invalid point but letโs discuss it. Granted this forum was in fact founded, supported, launched, & started by a Brit, does that mean Americans shouldnโt visit and be part of the community? Or Muslims? Jews even! Iโm Just trying to understand how YOU can be Soooo Bothered by another mans post you ainโt got no business in anyway!
Furthermore, I find it offensive that you think itโs ok to call someone out like that like you all high and mighty and what not, clearly Iโm wondering if itโs because you sit Down to pee youโre so offended.

It's very easy to generalize my comment like you are doing. Let me manke myself clearer: I find it offensive to post on an "english speaking forum" (official or not, it is what it is), a message that only a portion of it can understand. Nothing about race or religion (where in hell did you read that in my post???) or anything else in this world. I don't appreciate the "either you speak my language, or you ar not included". my message is very basic, don't try to read anything more into it. I actually canรฌt uderstand how you can read this comment as "exclusive" to other races, when the only thing I'm trying to say is that speaking a different languiage rather than english (I am italian btw, not my native language), is the least inclusive thing people can do!
Also I don't get the peeing thing, but I guess everyone's got their own thing.
