I like the print, and I'm not that fussed about the price, which is why I bought gloss black from E&C on the first release.
This being said I still find this release a bit messed up, edition too large at high price point, pre-release with some color ways missing, galleries popping them up here and there at strange prices etc etc…

If they went with a realistic edition size of 150 for the black instead of 300 they would have sold out and all of us who did grab one would be happier. Strange....you would be happier if edition size was lower? Isnt it that you are happy if you buy a print because you like the print image?

You get more pleasure from the SAME image, if it's a lower edition? Baffling. You *did* know the edition number as it was clearly stated on the site... The only "outlier" was the additional 100 prints exclusive to StoleSpace... *I* liked the print (regardless of edition size)... I just did not like the price Perhaps it's the fact that the prints have yet to sell out? Cheers! |

I think the edition size was too large for the price. It doesn't really matter for me, it's my first Eine and I will be very happy to have it on my wall.

i buy art that i like, with that said, the retail cost should be in line with the current value and not because of it's potential in the future. even if there's an image i like, i'm only going to pay what i think it's worth today, not what it might be worth in a few years.
Does this highlight the difference between those that buy for the image and those that buy for the investment? i think this is a better example of those who buy for VALUE. those who bought thought it was a good value. i personally don't see the value in this when you calculate the total edition size plus retail cost, the value is just not there. supply and demand, when the supply outweighs the demand then the value goes down. i buy art that i like, with that said, the retail cost should be in line with the current value and not because of it's potential in the future. even if there's an image i like, i'm only going to pay what i think it's worth today, not what it might be worth in a few years. |

I think this revolution release was a total mess. It's not fair to presell one colourway without telling buyers that many more colourways would be released. Too many prints, too high a price, too many different prices from many different resellers. It's a joke really and an easy pass for me (and I quite like eine)

Large edition big price- sells slowly running out just before the next release if at all.
