Please Help Poor Children , by Wearology on Oct 13, 2014 20:20:35 GMT 1, I have been asked to reach out to the art community for help on behalf of the Boys & Girls Club Of Mount Vernon, NY. This organization helps poor children in need. If any artists would like to donate a piece of their art to be auctioned off, it would be greatly appreciated.
If any forum members would like to donate art from their collection to be auctioned off that would be great too. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the art will go directly to the charity !!!
I am going to donate some special art from my personal collection to help the cause.
I will gladly pay for your art supplies and postage for your efforts, if you decide to donate something.
Please, Please, Please help out these great kids in need.
If you are in the tri-state area and would like to attend the event please send me a PM for more details.
I was looking for artists and collectors to donate art only, but some members have already sent PM's about donating money.
Please contact me about art donations only via PM and contact the charity directly about any financial pledges you would like to make.
To pledge money please contact The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon in order to help them serve more youth and offer more programs.

This is a great opportunity for young and upcoming artists to donate a piece of their art and get a ton of exposure and help charity. Thank you again for your support. I am sure there are a lot of people on our forum that always wanted to hep a good cause, but don't have the funds to do so, but do have some art sitting in storage or in a folder just collecting dust. Feel good about yourself and donate some art to raise money for poor kids.

He donated a beautiful piece of art that he created and it will be auctioned off to help
raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon, New York.
I would also like to thank the many forum members that donated money
to the cause as well. I personally donated a Banksy Print and I hope the 99%
American attendees of the silent auction know who Banksy is so they can raise
lots of funds for these very needy children.

The charity raised almost $40,000 for these wonderful children.
The money will go to getting these kids a van to take them to various activities & events.
They auctioned off an art package that contained a Federation of Ideas print and
a Banksy "Save or Delete" poster that fetched over $1,000. Thank you again to Federation of Ideas
for his donation and to the numerous forum members that donated money to this great cause.
