I take that as a great compliment, Wearology, although he was decidedly more spontaneous than I, which I'm mildly envious of. To pick up a can and paint a fantastic scene with no other materials is brilliant. To do the same with stencils is, well, a pain!
Just gotta get a big arse frame to fit it into now.

also a big compliment for the choice of tube, when I saw it I thought it was my order from Iran (just some uranium, they tend to post that in little oil barrels) but it was the print, that won't need any time to flatten!
have a nice idea for the frame (white box, with spatters of paint on the inside..) but hopefully that won't be too expensive!

Heheh, I'm just thankful to have a huge load of those tubes out of here, they were taking up so much space but I didn't want to lower my standards even when it came to the postal tubes. I had seen the Tate used 8" diameter ones and told myself "if they're good enough for the Tate, they'll do for me", hahaha.

today I was at my framer.. we discussed the framing of this beauty, it was busy in the store.. When I got the print out of the tube people were looking at it.. asking me about it.. asking about the artist.. asking if they could buy the AP (serious), it was a happy meeting and everybody loved the print!
the framing costs will be about 3 - 4 times the cost of the print... so it better be good!
