But if he says it was for a purchase it could open up a whole can of worms..
Im now tending to stay away from the "gift" payment..
I find it better to send a invoice via Paypal vith the 3% added on.. Just makes thing easier and everybody is covered..

I ended up contacting the wrong recipient immediately and explained what had gone wrong and they sent the money back to me. But bare in mind they were a business (dvd's) so I'm not sure how forthcoming a single person who has suddenly been given some money will be in giving it back (you'd hope for some human decency)
Also went to my bank and they suggested I queried the transaction through them but it never got to that
