Posting information in a general discussion isn't the same as trolling when someone posts a purchase. In a nutshell, it's that type of behavior that got you banned in the past. Hype has an element of dishonesty. Buying an artist's work then promoting it relentlessly for personal gain would be an example of hype. Posting something you bought with no ulterior motive is not.

FR is just a wee bit sensitive. I didn't criticize his taste in art. A member asked about SC's early work. I told him that her early work was nearly identical to Morion Bolognesi and that she added the comics after she was told it was too close. That and she got the comic book idea from a common craft project. She was covering an IKEA dresser with comics when it broke. She didn't have anything else to do with the comics so she slapped them on an Marion Bolognesi-esque canvas and that was that.
Given that FR bought in early on her work and has been trying to inflate her market ever since, this information wasn't exactly great for business, so he threw a temper tantrum. The same tantrum he's throwing now. Oh well, one day he might grow up. Or he might not. Doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

I think, to take FR's perspective he would just like to be able to post his latest purchase and get some of those positive comments too. From others, it would seem that anything FR posts has to be met with disdain and contempt.
So why don't we all just park these issues and start afresh - no accusations or derogatory remarks, a genuine love for art and a commitment from all to move past all this bitching (and I'm not just saying this in defence of FR - I think we all now need to start thinking more positively and acting that way too)

Thanks, but I think you got things a little off. I never replied to any artwork FR posted. I answered a member's question that was completely unrelated to him and he got his panties in a bunch. He then posted some naive interpretation of her work and was embarrassed when I posted quotes from her contradicting what he wrote. He's acted like a child about it ever since. But he's always behaved like a child on here, so there's not much difference.
