With Millie-ions of love is a campaign to raise money for a sensory room for a child called "Millie" who has epilepsy and is severely brain damaged after complications in childbirth, Millie's mum Aimee had said "I was contacted by a young girl and asked if she could run a charity fundraising night in aid of Millie, it was a Fifty Shades of Gray styled night, she told me it would be ยฃ15 a ticket and that it would all go to Millie"
On the night 200 tickets sold, and many people had volunteered their time including a DJ, Topless Waiters, Models along with Millie's mums own Jewelry stall, a speech was raised about how much the money was needed and how to dig deep.
However the young girl who organised the charity night then allegedly told Aimee "I'll take home all the money, and work out the 10% going to your cause"
Aimee described herself as "Gutted and numb" when hearing such news, she didn't know what to say or do, the Singer had overheard such news and himself was gutted, taking off his ยฃ200 watch and auctioning it on stage for just ยฃ30.
Aimee has described that at least ยฃ3,000 is missing from the tickets. They say that most the ladies were thinking it was going to Millie but and are quite simply annoyed and angered at this.
They have however managed to keep back ยฃ970

Charity get the money after costs including hidden profit suspect that what Bank Robber does as well. Lots of organisations say they are non profit that are profit based organisations with sponsors etc and the Directors being paid highly.
It does now seem to even happening in these types of event as well. What a terrible shame people usually pay more for these types of event as they are for charity. Terrible rip off.
Must say did like this about Andy fro Castle Gallery's raffle where no costs added or included and all donations went directly to the charity with the exception of the web money collector thing. Very straight and safe for people to donate with confidence.

Didnt Bonos 1 charity only have 1% of its gross allocated out? with over 50% of the gross income going on salaries- $10M IIRC
I alos knew of someone who organises macmillan coffee morning to flog her pyramid selling tat, chucking a token tenner to macmillan later.
