Challet Maid/chef, by Coach on Nov 6, 2014 22:04:55 GMT 1, Hi, Does anyone in the UK have any experience of being (or maybe your son/daughter being) a challet maid/chef (forgive me if they are not the current terms) during the ski season. Ifso, could you please PM me, if you are happy to share some info. Thanks.
PS No, I don't plan to be one! I'm far to old!

Challet Maid/chef, by johnnyh on Nov 8, 2014 13:06:04 GMT 1, Never been one and never had kids so no. But have had them at Ski resorts where we were the clients.
They work pretty hard etc but the have a good time learn how to ski/snowboard etc. they party quite a lot but it's all pretty safe in comparrison to say going out in Cov it's an easy way for a youngster to experience life at a ski resort and some skiing/boarding away from dad etc on the cheap. But they have bosses who check on them. The people who are in the chalet might be a pain etc. so it's not all free and easy. They work pretty hard Assume you lad wants to do it. Your welcome to pm me if I can help anymore.

"Thankyou"
Although often forgotten these days...good manners are always useful
