I have cancelled the auction....
1 reason is because i have been recieving stupid bloody questions like how much did you buy it for, can we see it first before bidding etc...
also the fact that there are some crazy"banksy" items being auctioned at the moment without any sort of prov....eg, a fridge, a piece of metal and another "worthless" IMO wall. This to me undermines the value of my piece and i don't want it associated with those other pieces.
Maybe it will appear at an auction house soon.

What are you on about? If your going to put a ยฃ60,000 painting on ebay you have to expect some questions, it is afterall a lot of money. There will allways be a load of shite on ebay thats just the way it is, I don't think it makes your piece look bad at all.
You had nothing to lose by leaving the painting until the end of the auction, but know you have installed doubt in everyones minds.
Good luck with the auction house, you do know they take 20% and a further 4% to Banksy though. Not that you should take my advise but if I had that painting I would keep it forever, it is bound to be worth a cool million soon.

I agree putting it on Ebay you are going to have to deal with lots of questions. If people are going to be parting with that amount of money they are bound to wanna see it first. It's like buying a car or something!

and by the way Its not up to LAZ to authenticate stuff is it?
this piece and many others were done before he and POW were on the BAnksy scene.
I appreciate that a LAZ " approval" appears to be confirmation that a piece is genuine.

Without that confirmation the piece will have problems later.
