Have moved house recently and underestimated the cost of a few things I've wanted to do so need to sell some bits (Most of it at cost to me).
Apologies if this thread offends anyone as they think I'm 'flipping'- just trying to raise some money for flooring and plasterers- see the background to most of the pics! If I wanted to flip something I'd be on eBay though.

I think you are correct... all should be welcome... However, I also feel that when we as a community feel like there is something underhanded or not kosher with a sale, that we should feel free to say so without a second thought. I think flipper's suck, and say so, you don't, and say so... we are even, yes? both within our right, yes?
My only issue is with shmuck's that tout their flips about in a way that only brings negativity to the forum.

Probably most of all, it is because those who wanted the Blek prints were able to get them, and those that weren't didn't care all that much...
... The volume of the mob against flippers is only ever as loud as the volume of the mob cheering the print in the first place... Further, most of the anger aimed at flippers is for 1 of the following:
1 - Poster is a p***s who rubs peoples faces in the fact that he bought solely for profit
2 - Poster has only 1 post and it is to sell something
3 - Poster has several posts and they are only for sale posts
4 - Poster is trying to sell a print not yet in their posession
This guy is obviously not in any of the above categories...

I've never seen one sold here for less than 10-100 times the amount of the original sale but I don't think I've ever seen negative comments about that. How about FAILE or Nick Walker or 100 other IN DEMAND artists?? I'm all for a place that promotes selling for what is originally paid for a print, etc., but this doesn't seem to be that place 99% of the time. Just a thought

In my opinion it is the idea that there are people on here just to make a profit. Whereas the members who treat this forum as a community are here to learn and appreciate... sure if we end up making some scratch in the future, then it's a bonus. The anger comes from people using the community purely for financial gain.

Just a thought Look around, you'll see all sorts of negative comments on all sorts of sale threads... it is not flippers that people take issue with. In my opinion it is the idea that there are people on here just to make a profit.
