URBAN[E] by Eine, by Feral Things on Nov 18, 2014 20:56:05 GMT 1, Fragile Ventures are releasing wooden, concrete and metal 3D cubes by Ben Eine at Megumi Ogita Gallery in Tokyo. The cubes apparently depict Eine’s letter 'E' in Shutter, Tenderloin and Circus fonts, for those who are indecisive about their Eine font preferences. The cubes will be available to buy online and at the show which opens on Friday 5th December but they can be pre-ordered now at info@fragileventures.com

Wow £2.5k. How big are they? Wow, that is expensive. It's not really my sort of thing so I didn't bother asking about the price but I wasn't expecting that. I don't know the size either I'm afraid but I don't think they're that big. In case anyone's wondering I think the people behind 'Fragile Ventures' are the same people as 'Root' who designed Eine's website; I don't think it's got anything to do with Fragile/Lonely Villein but I could well be wrong. |

I've seen prices recently from a gallery that represent him, higher for new pieces than secondary market gallery prices! (Or near enough)
I think it's good for him though, he's one of the originators of this current scene, but they need to be careful!!

I tell you what, I've got a similar cube only instead of having the same letter on each face it's got a different number of dots. It's a fair bit smaller than Eine's, I must admit, but it's also a great deal more useful when playing Monopoly. Open to offers.
