Sending empty aerosol cans abroad, by Deleted on Nov 25, 2014 19:51:01 GMT 1, Hi,
I know many postal services don't allow full spraypaint cans to be posted but what about empty ones? I have a piece of art made up of empty cans still with the ball bearings inside and wanted to know whether, if needed, it could be posted
Many thanks

Sending empty aerosol cans abroad, by astrobboy on Nov 25, 2014 22:02:15 GMT 1, I've had a couple sent internationally to me. I asked the sender to make a small drill hole in the bottom to remove any gas from it. I included a letter with the can stating it was a piece of artwork and that it was decommissioned. Declared the piece as 'art' on the import form. Didn't have any issues. It was a risk though.
