The buyer is reimbursed by the sender If their is insurance on it if the item is lost or damaged. Usually the item is sent back at the sellers expense and replaced. BUT like I said for THIS specific item which was not a print, waiting months for it is not something that I would rather like. Anyway thanks. I hope it comes safe as well. |

If insurance does NOT come with purchases on their side then what secures me not losing my money besides going through paypal? I am not sure people on this board understand why people feel more comfortable buying with the option of insurance rather then not. I guess this is where we differ. Obviously I would wait for a banksy or a print that I have wanted for a long time. But sometimes people implulse buy. Do I LOVE every purchase that I make no. Sometimes I like it at the time until I get it and am like 'Ehh its ok". Pictures do things justice much more then in person sometimes.ย But lets use your analogy. Dolk or invader print. Its exactly what you said. a "Print". So I would not have to wait a long time to get a new one or for them to make it right. For an AP which is 1 of 1 and the very detailed work mau mau did with this specific piece is not something that is an easy fix. That is my POINT. This is not like a print.
The reason why insurance wouldn't matter to them is because the artwork didn't cost them what ever price you paid for it. Interms of materials near to nothing. So if it arrived damaged They could destroy the damaged and re create the same ap or refund you and still recreate another and sell it to someone else.

I sent one few weeks ago and never got a reply as well Tygster. I hope you actually get a reply soon. I had to pm Jhallah on this board. You might want to try that. Answering emails within a 3 week period should not be tough to do. Especially since yours was horribly damaged. If it were me, I'd ask if they'd be open to a partial refund to compensate for the decreased value. A little dent like that adds character. Makes it look like genuine street art

It was packaged oddly though. The upper left corner was essentially packaged so it was up against the very edge of the packaging. Seemed especially strange considering all the room on the right hand side, would've been easy to just center it. Kids will enjoy it next to the paint bomber fox, may touch up those color flecks myself if it becomes too much of a distraction.

Been hearing this from all the damaged ones.The packaging was horribly done. Makes sense why these were damaged. Unprofessionally packed is a bad sign. Odds are getting less and less that ill get a non damaged in some way one if I see it at all at this point. Glad you only had those tiny issues. |
