Just posted this in the latest art buys, but I'll post this here as well.. Some DIY-framing of Parasite Black Thing #12 in early 19th-century frame.. The result is really beautiful. Bravo, really nicely done. I think that's one of the best of the series so far. So much tension with the black thing struggling against the bounds of the white lines. This push/pull relationship is echoed with the sail boats in the scene. The shapes are also really cool looking with a horizontal composition instead of the vertical in all the others. |

My take on this is the toil of human labor and being shackled by the contraption of black thing. She manages to raise her tired head above the black thing, physically separated from the routine and menial labor, her eyes gaze to the distance and her mind is free to dream. |

I'll admit that missing these is getting a bit frustrating. Which of course is a bit silly. But without any notice of an impending release, it seems I'm doomed to failure. Just can't F5 my way through the day. To whomever got this one: I'd be happy to take it off your hands. Really.

I think they simply stay shown as 'on sale' until the purchase is fully completed rather than it being 'something'. His site has always been like that
