Although would be selling for 250p + fees since that what it ended up being.

Gonzalo Borondo πͺπ¦ Spanish Glass Artist β’ Street Art, by melize on Feb 4, 2015 13:51:18 GMT 1, Yeah, pretty logical move; I figure 40% chance I get something I like based on the PDF. You seem bitter. Although would be selling for 250p + fees since that what it ended up being. Not bitter in any way. Just amused by you. The other Borondo thread has got to be one of the funniest threads I have read on here. I have to give credit to one person(?), coller who was all over it like a boy on a mission:
It all started so well especially when he said "Those tiny originals look like absolute crap." It then got better when he said "those little originals look like s**t. Like he wasn't trying, or purposefully tried to make them look aesthetically appalling."
Just when I thought he might be swayed by public opinion he hit out with:
"I don't disagree about the decrepit beauty; most these just look decrepit."
"I'm sure there will be some amazing pieces at the show; those tiny originals simply aren't them."
Then he nearly derailed the thread ... the less said about that the better.
I applauded his comment "Not gonna just say things look good when I think they look crap though; part of having an opinion"
and another round of applause: "I do think that hype goggles are making some of you think that his bad pieces are good."
and then after having secured a Borondo piece, the punchline "+1, can't lie; I love lotteries. If I don't like mine, I'll sell for face."
Each to their own. Individual opinions are to be encouraged no matter how base or inarticulate. Was it all a masterly display of diversionary tactics to secure a piece? In the space of a few days coller really made an astonishing u-turn from critiquing Borondo's images in this show for not being classic Borondo, to being well on his way to becoming his biggest cheerleader by starting off a thread for those who secured the same piece as him. I blame the insidious nature of the board for reeling young renegades in - you had a strong ally in f backwards r.
By the way this thread could prove useful as a swap club for members who wish to exchange their Alveare pieces - so well done.
coller you were earlier described as a clown. You are so much more than that. You are a man for all seasons and an all round entertainer. Keep on being your contrary self and providing good cheer whether intentional or not. I hope you grow to love your piece

I hope you grow to love your piece
Not bitter in any way. Just amused by you. The other Borondo thread has got to be one of the funniest threads I have read on here. I have to give credit to one person(?), coller who was all over it like a boy on a mission: It all started so well especially when he said "Those tiny originals look like absolute crap." It then got better when he said "those little originals look like s**t. Like he wasn't trying, or purposefully tried to make them look aesthetically appalling."Just when I thought he might be swayed by public opinion he hit out with: "I don't disagree about the decrepit beauty; most these just look decrepit.""I'm sure there will be some amazing pieces at the show; those tiny originals simply aren't them."Then he nearly derailed the thread ... the less said about that the better. I applauded his comment "Not gonna just say things look good when I think they look crap though; part of having an opinion"
and another round of applause: "I do think that hype goggles are making some of you think that his bad pieces are good."and then after having secured a Borondo piece, the punchline "+1, can't lie; I love lotteries. If I don't like mine, I'll sell for face."Each to their own.

HAHAHA quality post..Looking forward to DS111 waking up and coming up with a smart arse comeback to this. The guys reasoning has always been a bit iffy. I remember when he had two threads running side by side, one asking for a signed Banksy below $4k as he was a true collector and it would never be sold, and the other trying to flip Borondo's Identity print at a 100% markup within two weeks. Funny Funny guy, adds some humour to this place for sure. Not sure the odds are stacked in your favour though regarding the lottery..sure all the stronger images will be assigned to those who have purchased and then visit the show within the 3weeks, choosing there preffered images.
