Yes he'd painted a lot of wall pieces and produced a few editions but they weren't selling well, and POW was skint. It wasn't until the paid PR kicked in that the prices started to rise. Well as they say in the trade "stop talking bollocks"

I'm not a fan of Hirsts art but I do recognise Hirst has a great talent for promotion and selling.
