well either it is a rich pop singer who doesn't need the money or it's an unknown who is selling the "i'm really a well known song bird" to get attention from the press and sell some stencil art.
Either way seems to be what it is.

Don't tell anyone, but I quite like Paloma. So I hope she doesn't turn out to be the Bambi. I would imagine Paloma would concentrate on the music side of things. If she wanted to make art, she could, so I don't see a need for secrecy. It could be about a musical artist having fun by delving into the seedy world of street art. It could also be about a framing shop trying to pay rent in the seedy world of London retail premises.

Bambi π¬π§ Street Art β’ Print Release β’ Art For Sale, by Dr Plip on Dec 30, 2014 20:22:32 GMT 1, I read this and i'm sold.
Wonder if she'll do a swap for a plop?
bambiart.co.uk/buy-or-sell-bambi-artist/
"Here are the main reasons to by a Bambi Artist piece early on: *Street/Graffiti art has become one of the most popular forms of contemporary art.
*Bambi's work is loved, commissioned and endorsed by high profile individuals and celebrities. *Bambi's artworks are still very affordable.
*Bambi is set to head in the same direction as Banksy - This is great news for any collector or investor!
*Bambi is a well known singer that has sold millions of records worldwide."
You got to love it. Those bullet points are possibly all false. What a work of art! I'll admit it. You got me. I thought you were being serious

Bambi π¬π§ Street Art β’ Print Release β’ Art For Sale, by SW20 on Dec 30, 2014 20:37:43 GMT 1, Considering most threads on here are by someone flogging something. there is often some real dross bought and released.
it kinda shows how bad her stuff is and how much her and her cohorts are disliked and most of this thread highlights how desperate they are to get into this market and laughingly how desperate people are to keep them out.
long may it continue

Bambi π¬π§ Street Art β’ Print Release β’ Art For Sale, by Shoot Again on Dec 31, 2014 9:29:17 GMT 1, Do you live in London ? Have you actually made the effort to visit that "gallery" who used to be a carpet shop ? Have you had a chat with people in there to make up your mind ? Nope. Nope and nope. I have no urge to do so either. Have you talked to Banksy? How do you stand behind him so much. I would assume you have. Also was it really a carpet shop or was that just your opinion that it might have been? Haha I do live in London and yes I do visit Walton Street regularly (Andipa is there), so yes I did see that CARPET SHOP turn into a wannabee gallery trying to surf on the Streetart wave ! They are now TRYING TO sell mostly Bambi sh8 and on the side are displaying a few massively overpriced prints by established artists in the desperate hope it gives them some kind of credibility. The problem is that if you step in (which I did as I really wanted to see what those guys were made of and make my OWN judgement) there is a fair chance that you catch them eating a kebab (nothing wrong with a good kebab, just not in front of your clients !) on their desks ! It's when you happen to try to engage in an artistic discussion with them that the real fun begins though : their sales pitch is to die for, full of sh8 from start to finish, you should try it, you seem just the kind of person they're desperately trying to reach ;-)
No, I have NOT spoken to Banksy, nor have I spoken to Bambi. I did speak to the people trying to hype Bambi though, that's how I made up my INFORMED judgement. Maybe it's about time you start doing the same ?
Happy NYE to you too

This is a great opinion. And just that.
Why should we accept this one opinion as 'fact'? Sorry but your 'opinion' has no more validity then any of Bambi's wild claims on her website.
I'm glad you checked it out for yourself but in the end its nothing more then an opinion.
Informed judgement? Not so much. The things you highlight, maybe a carpet shop, eating a kabob, shows a lot. Listen to yourself. Your upset because they were eating on their desk? Really what do you want. Do you prefer a Christies auction house? Do realize we are talking about street/urban art. Lol. Seems like Banksy has really done something to the art world!

Bambi π¬π§ Street Art β’ Print Release β’ Art For Sale, by Hairbland on Dec 31, 2014 13:43:09 GMT 1, would anyone pay 10k for a Banksy print or a few K for an unsigned print if they knew that the prices would never go any higher than what they paid? It all seems to be judged on speculation and profit these days.
You are describing the entire art market - speculation and profit. Been this way for as long as I can remember, on fire currently.

On which planet do you live ? You are really beyond stupid, it's actually starting to be quite funny how stupid you are ! So let me repeat that to you in plain english again : the shop was a Carpet Shop and THE VERY SAME PEOPLE were running a Bambi Gallery the following week in the same place ! They were not even clever enough to entirely get rid of the Carpet Shop right away, there was still a corner dedicated to that activity for a little while ;-) Is that clear enough for you now, or it's still an "opinion"
I'm not "upset" because they were eating on their desk you moron (I do the same in my office, but not in front of client) I was bewildered by their sales pitch, as I am now by the level of your stupidity.
That's it, you've lost me, I've tried my best to share some FACTS with you. This conversation is going nowhere and won't amuse me for much longer, I've already wasted far too much of my time with you

Bambi π¬π§ Street Art β’ Print Release β’ Art For Sale, by Rouen Cathedral on Dec 31, 2014 14:22:33 GMT 1, This is a great opinion. Man, I start to believe you're not only ignorant but also a total idiot ;-) How can the FACT that I saw the carpet shop with my own eyes being transformed into a wannabee Bambi gallery "not" be a "FACT" but an "opinion" ?!? On which planet do you live ? You are really beyond stupid, it's actually starting to be quite funny how stupid you are ! So let me repeat that to you in plain english again : the shop was a Carpet Shop and THE VERY SAME PEOPLE were running a Bambi Gallery the following week in the same place ! They were not even clever enough to entirely get rid of the Carpet Shop right away, there was still a corner dedicated to that activity for a little while ;-) Is that clear enough for you now, or it's still an "opinion" I'm not "upset" because they were eating on their desk you moron (I do the same in my office, but not in front of client) I was bewildered by their sales pitch, as I am now by the level of your stupidity.Β That's it, you've lost me, I've tried my best to share some FACTS with you. This conversation is going nowhere and won't amuse me for much longer, I've already wasted far too much of my time with you
Sorry but your 'facts' mean nothing. Your perception of the people running the gallery means nothing and shows no fact about Bambi or her art.
I'm still confused why your original post (the one I researched) said it was your opinion that it was a carpet shop.
Who cares if it use to be a carpet shop. That's makes it all the more interesting really. Lol. Add to the art!
The Tate use to be a power station! Fact!

Makes sense. The carpets are probably better pieces of artwork!

You are really from a different species, aren't you ?!? ;-) It's NOT the fact that there used to be a carpet shop where the wannabee gallery stands nowdays that is the point you dumbo, it's the fact that it's THE VERY SAME PEOPLE who run both... you get it or you need another 5 min to think about it Basically, some people who were selling carpets for years in a fancy part of London decided overnight they would become an "FINE ART" Gallery (that's their name in case you're lost !!!) and had nothing else to offer than Bambi sh8 plus a few massively over-priced prints by some established artists.
You are obviously allowed to believe they are great people to deal with and that Bambi is the best out there but I feel obliged to repeat and share those FACTS with the rest of the UAA Community ...
Basic question (let's keep it simple for you) : are the people who run the Tate the very same persons who used to run the Power Station ? If you don't find the answer (which I'm afraid might be the case), then many of us will be more than happy to share a clue with you later ;-)

Bambi π¬π§ Street Art β’ Print Release β’ Art For Sale, by dashboll on Dec 31, 2014 14:47:11 GMT 1, @ling that is beautiful, I have a tear in my eye. Very clever how it blends into the environment, looks like the kid is levitating, I wonder what it means? Too deep for me I'm afraid
