Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by kobron on Jan 2, 2015 17:36:18 GMT 1, Agreed, Such a powerful image. And very well executed. Nothing on this piece though- titled 'Undredoomed Plodge' As its title clearly suggests, 'underdoomed plodge' is a commentary on both the fragility of life and the fragility of the contemporary art market. What starts in life as yearning soon becomes finessed into a carnival of distress, leaving only a sense of decadence and the inevitability of a new beginning. As temporal replicas become reconfigured through diligent and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the inaccuracies of our era. A true modern masterpiece. "...a carnival of distress" f**king brilliant ling. if it's Poker, I say: all in!
-in my country - in newspapers and on television say it's the best sculptor ... (be authentic!) Financed by the European Union (and this also is your money, big money ...)
Den homeless , 2005 cardboard, paper, adhesive tape 47 x 74 x 205 cm private collection, Bern, Switzerland (...)The essential feature of the "lair homeless" is the fact that they are not a replica, or transfer the existing street cardboard bedding or parts thereof, but homogeneous created sculptural composition - with specific sensitivity to the topic - from start to finish by the artist.(...)
-Art Is POWER! Bambi as you can see is not so bad ...

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by iamzero on Jan 2, 2015 18:20:57 GMT 1, So a load of you lot rightly slate Bambi for the s**te that it is, but then no go apes**t over that Eyesaw bollocks? Please explain the difference?
I'd say the last Eyesaw canvas was a clever take on a Banksy piece, original idea and the stencil was well crafted and executed. Now compare the image to the dogshite effort of a stencilled baby on this page, count to10 and ask that question again. ;-p

Once again it's all about perception. You may see a clever take on a Banksy for the eyesaw piece while someone else see an unorginal playoff of a famous image to sell works.
Just as you see Bambi's art stall as a rip off of Banksy someone may see it as a clever take off of a Banksy work.
So who's right?
And are you comparing the quality of a street stencil to a in studio canvas stencil?

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by iamzero on Jan 2, 2015 23:24:42 GMT 1, I think if you have a terrible image and badly cut single layer stencil it makes no difference if it's sprayed on an outside wall in a street or in the comfort of a studio. If someone takes a poo in a £3k toilet or directly on the pavement... A turd is a turd.

The eyesore canvas wasn't pushed on anyone enquiring to buy a banksy or didn't need an article in the newspapers saying it's a great investment and puff diddy has one hanging over his bed.
It's the lies and shameless promotion of bambi that gets on most peoples tits not the poor executed work because there is plenty of that about.

If you don't like the press don't listen to it. Pretty simple really. Don't know why that gets you all bent out of shape.

Maybe we should start posting various images of other artists on this site that fullfill your above criteria. Even the great himself would have some...
Yet I don't see you complaining about those as hard.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Deleted on Jan 3, 2015 11:43:33 GMT 1, Plagiarized Bambi baby, as part of preparatory work, for what I hope will be a 2/3 color print this year. It still needs work. When blown up to A3, the pixels really show and need to be painted - smoothed out, the hands also need work.
I have only recently looked at Bambi's work, in the light of this thread, and can't say I'm a fan. The poorly executed 'undrerdoomed plodge' just adds to the ugliness, and already debased nature of the work.
I am quite intuitive, and sense in Bambi's work, a lack of color, humor or warmth, no joie de vivre.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by tartarus on Jan 3, 2015 12:54:47 GMT 1, lol i wonder if the carpet shop boys took those in, knowing full well the valuation would go through their new gallery. Might be the biggest sale they made to dater!|
I guess if it does turn out that that is true, murrke03 will declare it as "art" or maybe "genius".
I am in no way claiming that this is true!
Phew ass covered.

Er cause it would basically be fraud. But then as we all know you are either the carpet shop or someone so close that you don't know how to differentiate art from labelling theory.
Awesome, so I was making things up and putting words in your mouth. And yet there you are asking why it isn't art.
Genius.

Probably the only hope they have of shoting on what must be a pretty big back catalogue of work!

Right! Lucky for Bambi. Oh and whatson and Banksy and so many others!

But if the carpet shop did pull the stunt i mentioned before, then that would be fraud.
But hey, you can proceed with trying to baffle people with your bulls**t. Just saying, as you seem to think it boosts your credibility.

And fraud for financial gain.

The same can be said for your need to bash. Which I would say is quite more pathetic. Especially when it seems you don't bash or may praise other artists for similar things.
Don't like Bambi? Fine. She's not the greatest artist of all time. But why do you feel the need to call her stuff bull$&/- or say she's not an artist. That's childish.

Just saying, as you seem to think it boosts your credibility. For all the reasons mentioned over and over again that you seem keen to ignore. Or worse call art!
my need to bash as you put it is honest criticism, do you have a problem with that?
I also havnt put in anywhere near the time you are. its become pretty much your only reason to be here. which of course suggests you are involved in this sham.
this "ARTIST" as has been said over and over and over, has attempted to create a fan base by buying media exposure. the work has no credibility, and the artist has no past. there are so many great artists that actually deserve the coverage this rubbish gets that are still struggling along the hard route of work and reputation. Just becos this person has the money for media purchasing doesn't give her any right to a place in the art world.
do you realise that your the only person here in defence? the more you post, the more people are posting negative stuff about your "ARTIST". your just providing a whole load of peoplee the platform to have their say about Bambi. At the moment it looks like a tidal wave of people that dislike her and serves as a compendium of her attempted rise to mediocrity.
childish? nah, that would be naively thinking anyone believes you are hyping this rubbish but aren't involved with the artist.
oh, going to continue to try twisting what people say? I didn't say her work was fraud, its just contrived and crap. But if the carpet shop did pull the stunt i mentioned before, then that would be fraud. But hey, you can proceed with trying to baffle people with your bulls**t. Wether you are the carpet shop or not, your need to defend is far too desperate and you are spending far too much time on it not to have an angle. Art it to be criticized. If you or the artist can't handle bad critiques, then they they are in for a rough road. It's not childish, it's part of the game.

Bambi 🇬🇧 Street Art • Print Release • Art For Sale, by Deleted on Jan 3, 2015 21:16:41 GMT 1, IMO. the artworks are less than poor, they seem to be a childish rehash of images or ideas from years back and executed very poorly, if a person wants to see this type of work but done far better then look at JPS.
The hype and management of the artist seems to be ham fisted in it's attempt to link the name to anything and everyone with a tenuous celebrity status, now even spilling onto blogs and forums in a 'throw the net wide and see what happens' fashion.
I do not see any comparison to Banksy here, it is dire attempts at headline grabbing with poor work at best.
Lenny, hang your head, this artist has no talent at all and you know it, start the next project.
