Using a glass mat?, by soam24 on Dec 25, 2014 19:20:14 GMT 1, I've been tasked with framing some dried tree bark from Fiji. It's pretty cool looking.
I have the idea of buying the glass an extra 1" all around to float this bark in the middle of it.
So it would be glass > art < glass
The question is.. how would I keep the art in the middle of the two glass pieces securely?
Thanks in advance.

Using a glass mat?, by Mister Frame Man on Dec 26, 2014 12:01:17 GMT 1, Depending on how thick the bark is you could have a clear acrylic sheet cut with an aperture to accommodate the bark.
Clear acrylic available in 2,3,5,6,8mm
Sandwich that between the two sheets of glass
Would work?

bows to the exalted one, MFM.
