Banksy £10 • Di-Faced Tenner, by MGK1 on May 22, 2024 22:21:52 GMT 1, I was given this Di-Faced Tenner misprint by Steve Lazarides during the years I worked for him. He saw no value in it but as a fresh faced 18yr old I was happy to take it home!
An error in the printing process caused the 'Di-Faced' side to be printed twice: once on it's intended face and again on top of Darwin. The CMYK dots are clearly visible as you'd expect and the Diana side is as it should be (although slightly mis-aligned). The misprinting is only obvious on the Darwin side.
It's hard to put a value on as it can either be seen as a bit of a mess or as a extreme rarity depending on your point of view. With this in mind I'll ask for offers over £250. I'm happy to include a letter of provenance with it and an old payslip from Lazarides.

If a legit BoE £10 note was misprinted like this, it would be worth a fortune, so I would say this is worth way more than £250

Not doubting the legitimacy of the tenner at all, but these were printed in sheets, so surely wouldn't there be at least five like this one?
