I received these prints when someone threw them into the crowd at Notting Hil Carnival.
No claims as to whether the fair hand of Banksy created them or threw them into the crowd.
It would be great to hear from other owners of the print direct from Santas Grotto as to what they think.

The funny thing about this all is that me and my mates used to hangout with Banksy when we were squatting the cooltan factory in Brixton...That was back in 1991 or so...Then we moved to the voice squat and he used to come and party there...
All I remember of Banksy is that he lives with his Mum...and he might have thrown a load of notes at me....
Yes these pics are the best preserved ones...Thats why I took the photos of these and not the dog eared ones I have.

Bluelantern - I have 2 of these tenners and my mate has 2, that we both picked up from the Ghetto in 2004. The colour in your pictures looks very different to ours.
Why have they been listed on ebay for the 3rd time in 2 weeks? And this time there are 3 of them for sale. Hmm

If they have been xeroxed then you would be able to tell by the dot pattern. Also if they have been copied digitally you may find that the print is slightly raised, try holding it up to the light.

Understandable, but if I was to buy one in the secondary market I would look to have a receipt. If you are planning on keeping yours it doesn't amtter because you know they are real.

Think I agree, be careful. I might just keep them off the site unless people have provenance. Please don't be surprised if Banksy tenners with no provenance get deleted from aucsab . If you see any new ones on there lacking provenance, please email me. Ebay can have them.
