Do people really believe they have kept a box load of them, just saving them for a rainy day?
I’d still happily buy one without a ‘Laz COA’ as long as I trusted the seller

There were a lot of boxes.

Do people really believe they have kept a box load of them, just saving them for a rainy day? Sometime in the mid 2000's I helped move a couple of boxes of notes from one location to another.
There were a lot of boxes.

COA's are often easier to fake than the items they support, easier still are the photocopies of old Laz compliments slips doing the rounds. It really couldn't be easier to authenticate a genuine D-Faced Tenner, all you need to do is simply verify that the printing looks like this close-up...

But if you're talking about the ones being 'sold' (I use that term loosely), by Lazarides or another of the galleries he's given bulk deals to, then those are surely 99% genuine.

Images I’ve been sent seem to confirm it has what it should but a colour photocopy shows up in the post. Luckily the sellers have taken them back, surprised they are not real. Anyhow would love to get one :-)
