I wrote to PC and they answered confirming it was a fake. I was pretty sure it was legit, but if PC says it is not... I guess they look for the edition number and check the info they have. Maybe it was any other issue with the ownership of the print, but the answer was textually: "This work is not genuine and is fake" The answer broke me... I was so excited I was going to own an original Banksy S&S... but to good to be true. I have more pics of this and also other good fakes that PC confirm weren't genuine. Maybe could be interested to have a thread about good fakes if it doesn't exist. Cheers!

signature is piss poor. Cant see the signature on the COA and they are usually poor too on fakes.

The seller provide a lot of pics about the print, including all emails from POW when he supposedly bought it...

As someone said, the days have gone finding a bargain Banksy, especially from a gallery.
There are more fake Banksy pieces out there than genuine ones. Don't rush into buying something if it looks cheap. If you're not sure on the legitimacy of something, ask here.

It is a well known website in Spain. Of course, the web is not responsible of the items sold there.
Anyway, I would recommend to contact directly to PC with all the info. They will help you and confirm if the print is legit or not.
I have found a lot of banksy fakes, bit this one is by far the best. The paper is exactly the same used in the original print, the measures, the colors, the signature ink... I studied this print so deep.
The only things that made me doubt were the signature and the edition number calligraphy.
I am sure that the print is in the market....

And the fake market is getting better unfortunately, honestly might as well just buy a copy at this point if you just like the tenner aesthetically, that way you can frame up both sides for cheap. For my OCD, it honestly feels great owning the real deal since it is an iconic piece from Banksy, because it eliminates that nagging feeling of doubt that may carry forward any time you look at it.

"This work comes from a danish private collection, alas we do not have much more information on this subject since it is a private individual"
So I decided to buy the Laz/BNG-Tenner (in the early days) - they were auctioned on Catawiki now for up to 5k ...
One word to the Dope!-Gallery Tenners.

£200 seems a lot (back then) but you were buying from the only reliable source, especially as there was no other provenance. Laz seems to be changing the rules to suit his future sales.
