When I spoke they said they have a few but did think it seemed a bit dodgy the way they spoke so didn’t continue in negotiations. Someone paid 5500 for a thrower from them I really hope they aren’t fake also 😫🙏🏻

With Laz, the packaging, with Bottleneck you get them preframed with hologram stickers, with Andipa you get a personalized letter from the gallery owner. Price is also a big giveaway, they have been increasing in price from origin, so you may see discrepancies on the secondary market because of that.
The COA’s are all a little different. If getting a tenner on the secondary market just make sure the extras are sent over. Perhaps the notes he has are running out, and demand is high. So as they get fewer he's putting up the prices.

The quantity will always be unknown the exact figure probably never was. We've seen at least one lithographic plate which can be used to make them for sale on here, and although it would be possible create more plates, having the original plates fully retired and in private collections (for me) reduces the likely hood any 'authentic' ones are still being produced.
I don't think Laz is the only source, but he is the only completely trusted source when it comes to these, which is the result of being Banksy's ex manager.
Even if he's not running out, I don't think he has any obligation to anyone to keep them cheap, he can ask whatever he wants. I think they started out at £750 on the Emporium
