It's hard to know the real motivation why an artist wants to have a forum on his name , closed .
I think Stik, more and more, wants to keep an eye on all .. Maybe, he have been flipped too much or ripped off or was too kind by the past, maybe he just wants to make prints or paint for charity and does not want to hear about deals or money, maybe he gave some artworks that have been sold then on eBay , maybe too much fakes, etc etc ...
Who knows ...he asked to close it down and wants his authors action for all ..,

I don't know , I spoke about with my nephew this morning ( I had an offer for 5 k ) , he knows that I am not rich ( I'm not complaining that's a fact ) , I was lucky ( I could buy a signed Banksy then if I known about ) enough with horses to get some prints after Banksy movie and to get this mum for 70 £...
My nephew asked me why, why I don't sell it ?
I just answered, because I like it on my wall.
There is some prints ( apart another Big Bang in my life )that I will never sell , because I am passionate of all since I am a kid : collector of all and nothing ! Just jumping from collections to collections : liberty and colors are inside also , and not only outside, running by the street between the walls.
Yes, I can understand your questions about Stik , but a lot won't stay too : what happened to Roa, Dal East, Evol, Etc etc ? .., three of the best ! Is Zoehac will stay ( another amazing creator ) ? Not sure...

IMHO if it you don't want to look at it... Don't buy it. If you want to make only shares in the tech giants are a better bet...for me, I love the simplicity of Stik. Also love that his art is gentle and positive. |

Shat at, What you lookin at, See what I saw also, Nesting, Falling and Raven haired... but I have to say I am "moving on" in my tastes. Maybe Eelus is the starter drug for Urban Art? Nothing to scary not likely to offend etc. That said Tiffany for Breakfast was fun. |

Why is it in demand?
For me, its about is a kindness and simplicity to it that contrasts to an over produced, over stimulated, less thoughtful world. Thats pretty valuable.
Why is supply limited?
Stik wants it to be special and is not a greed head. He also has to "find a balance" which is not known or clear, in his shoes - a cautious approach is probably right. The rest plays out on its own.
