Ryca runs squarity and prints all prints on that site and prints all stiks prints and part managed him early on ,

his market would probably crash at these price levels if edition were any higher .
Many artists start the same and have the same success ,starting with editions of 20-80 but get greedy on each release and end up with editions of up to 500 , multiple special editions and releases every few months and crash their own market .
Of course his market is larger than the forum , not hard with editions of 100 ,just from the last release many of the buyers were from the forum buying 2-4 prints via friends and family etc and set the early prices as have majority of the stock and were set selling for profit ,
New people not familiar with the Stik market after discovering through the book a few months earlier would be amazed and would want the next banksy as pointed out everyone was trying to buy when the scene first started

In the time frame of a year , all it takes is someone with a vested interest to create a sale at a set point and the rest of their stock will sell for similar prices and the rest are willing to follow.
Easy to do with small editions , but clearly people buying now as a investment , too much to lose personally if market crashed

It's the guys behind the scenes that make good money , plus all the special edition prints for special clients hidden behind the scenes.
If your a serious collector by pass the artist and make friends with the gallery / print house ;-)

- The bristol bunch at the front were there own crew - paynie i think?
- There was another large group not far behind them - all the usual faces, along with a few students - more staff no doubt
- There was a gaggle of young ladies dressed like they were going to a nightclub - clearly being paid to queue and not happy that they were there for the whole day
- The ticket lady and all her mates were Missy P's - and she joined the forum after the drop
- THere were at least 2 more 'crews'ย
I guesstimate there were about 20 genuine fans, the rest were all there picking up multiples.

I have been a forum member since March 2011 - which is a long time before the sleeping baby print dropped,
I queued with my partner where we bought a red and a yellow, which we absolutely love and do not intend to sell anytime soon

I was the first to know and to have been invited on the rist on the SF, but I did not have enough time in fact
