What would be a good price for Dolk 'Last Mona' as I might have to sell it for something else.
And, here's an odd one, I always loved James Cauty's 'Stamps of Mass Destruction' so I bought (the very big) 'Queen 5th.'
It was originally a print run of 150-180 I believe but I have an AP2 and it's 17/18.
Would anyone have a clue as to what that might go for? Might mean I can keep the Dolk.

He did keep belting out all sorts of Stamp variants, but I think the early ones are superb when they're framed.

I had a Last Mona, as well as about another 30 prints in a portfolio at my Mum's place in Salisbury...last year she moved and in an octagenerian fit of spring cleaning threw away the portfolio...I raged and weeped internally but how could I get pissed at her?? "That's OK Mum...there weren't important..."

I've got a few Cauty's and I got a signed 1 of 13 from this guy for less than ยฃ30, which I thought was a bargain. I'm a fan, this is hanging in my lounge much to my partners chagrin:

I had it rolled up in the living room and it had some mould on the back, went home for the holiday's, came bacxk and the landlady had decorated the student digs I was renting, looked for the painting and she said she thought it was a rolled up piece of kitchen lino and threw it in a skip.. lol. Was worth about about 20k at the time. Ohhh how we laughed. |
