Yes indeed, the sale in general needed more US artists, too much EINE, Dface, Walker, Blek, Banksy, I know you couldn't have to much Banksy but it feels like a 1/5 of the sale is his!
More Swoon, Bast, Classic old school US artists, OsGemeos, KAWS and so on needed.

Im not surprised the kaws went unsold with that reserve...it hit 28K though..
and that scott campbell hit 19K too which imo would be an amazing price for the seller for that. Bit optimistic having a 25K estimate on that one

The CYW was escalating between a phone bidder and a guy in the room (who was the winner). I was quite surprised at the realized price considering you can still find it online for half that.
The $35 catalog and seeing some of the original canvases was worth the visit.

Whole of the East Coast was down.......but regardless that's auctions there were some nice pickups. I woke up late here so missed a lot of it just caught the last bit.
Looking at the prices in general the buyers / collectors did really well as the prices were low which is great in my book

The Francis was gorgeous, but about the trend we see for his pieces. The Parla was a poor example. Fair prices. If I had some extra scratch I'd of gone for that Francis.
