Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Deleted on Oct 15, 2008 17:43:21 GMT 1, Any ideas about the Denning in this one? IMO one of the most talented artists accepted in this 'scene'... and I think we can tell after this one how stable mr. Neate is!
can't wait!

You ask them. It might help if you have done business with them for a million years i dont know? asking the right person usually helps though , in this case that would be Gareth or Pedro.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Simococo on Oct 15, 2008 20:40:26 GMT 1, maybe, but haven't there been a few failures recently. Including over 40% of lots going unsold at Sotheby's in their recent Chinese / Indian contemporary sale in Hong Kong.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by griffermans on Oct 15, 2008 20:49:16 GMT 1, Bonhams set sensible estimates. That's the difference. Compare the 2 if you will.
1. TMA London canvas Β£20,000-Β£30,000 (sensible, will attract many bids no doubt)
2. Geisha Nightmare load of Tiolet Β£15,000-Β£25,000 (just made people laugh and assume Ms McCartorsomething at Drews doesn't have a f**king clue)

Simococo, I agree but Bonhmas attracts a different client base, there are some exceptional pieces which are not surrounded by mediocre crap.
And as an aside if the canvas PopTart is the one I think it is, it is a thing of absolutely amazing quality.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by Daniel Silk on Oct 16, 2008 13:41:21 GMT 1, Yeah, the sort of people that are gonna be at this auction aint gonna be affected by the Credit Crunch. Plus I think so many people are taking money out of the banks and are looking for other places to invest it.

Bonhams β’ Art Auctions β’ London π¬π§, by adamdavis on Oct 16, 2008 18:35:43 GMT 1, I particularly like the NW man in experimental colours, as its older than the rest of the series and its different colours make it particularly unqiue. It seems very underpriced.
The Dface f**k Pop art rocks as well! It much better than has recent stuff and seems cheap.
In fact it all seems quite underpriced, which is clever by bonhams as it will attract alot of attention to street/urban art, when it smashes these "prices".
Thoughts..
