The way he entered the art game was absolutely rediculous and we(art buyers) thought/still think he conned so many people but with that said, he is still selling out with his sales and prices are going up to this day. I do not see him going anywhere soon. He will be remembered 100%. Maybe not positively to certain art buyers BUT these art buyers opinions wont matter when the dust clears unfortunately. But on the plus side battery life is infinite and it does not need servicing so I think you got a good product there ! Would take your hand painted watch over MBW anything everyday (except maybe the above pictured toilet seat)

Sorry let me rephrase that, you can get a new steel model with a carbon face for like $8-9k, a used steel for about 5k (at least here in the states and with a proper dealer...meaning not paying retail ever ) |

Collectors are another niche of course- like art. MBW blates got that for for free, so cant blame him for wearing it
Its sorta strainge, as the toffs and long term family monied people I know/ have met usually wear basic watches and drive shitty volvos- and they are the ones who could spend any amount of ยฃยฃ on stuff like this without thinking twice.

Fine watchmaking is a craft, sometimes an art. If you get a chance to visit a Swiss manufacture, you will feel the hundreds of years of passion, quest for excellence, technical prowess, aesthetics combining form and function etc etc...
That makes it even more sad to see Hublot who are fine watchmaker get in bed with this clown...
