For balance, I'm just going to say I quite liked those decayed baubles of his. Those were great and the original relic releases. The transparent stuff, notebook and flag, not so much. The hourglass would've been nice if there weren't defects. |

I have had a few interactions with the artist personally as well as know someone who worked for him. he makes It very very hard to like him. he's the type of person who only speaks or gives attention to those who he feels he can gain something from. he also overly feeds into the certain narratives like being "colorblind" he seems to dive into it as gimmick for his monochromatic works or pretend like he actually does not see color as apposed to possibly lacking a few hues which is extremely common, especially for men. even the 2 pencil thing is beyond ridiculous. he fully posts it in every photo hes drawing in so at a glance u think hes working with 2 hands but when was called out on it says its to hold the paper? maybe im biased because of being rubbed the wrong way multiple times by him in interactions but I cant help but digest everything he does as trying extremely hard to be "cool" prob gonna come off as I just have a vendetta against the guy lol but I say this as someone who was a big fan and owns 3 of his works. but when I met him and learned more about him (specially things I have to leave out of this from his former employee) it really just changed my whole outlook on him as both a person and artist.

I agree. I think the packaging should be the product and the prints should be the wrapping paper for it. His Instagram clip reminds me of the really cheesey YouTube unboxing clips.
