Many thanks for all pm's people...general opinion seems to be that I would be mad to sell it, so am going to be selling off a few of my less valuable bits to get the cash together....please see Ghostboy thread if you are interested in a giant Hoochgirl painted on a door!!!!

I think it was for £1,800 or thereabouts...

Paranoid pictures sold at auction about a month ago for £75k and about two weeks ago a Heavy Weaponry sold for £50k. I think Andipa has a HW for £65k plus VAT. Lazarides had a Precision Bombing edition of 10 for a round £85k.
These canvases seem to be rising fast, wasn't so many years ago that you these went unsold at auctions for around £25k.
I suppose when you look at the price of a Nola A/P, Kate or any signed print, its to be expected. Just not enough canvases to go around. Plus we know the artist actually had his hands on these.

Go to Sothebys in June.

I fear my tastes outweigh my wallet at these prices.
I have around £35k budget (which I thought was enough about 30 mins ago)...ill hit Sotheby's, but I have a suspicion that all works will go off the richter if they get the right buzz, any canvas bits for sure.

Maybe heavy weaponry @bonhams but we will have to see I suppose.

Maybe another market crash is needed! Banksy work is like house prices right now.

I'd sooner boil my head in leper's puss, then wipe my arse with a broken bottle dipped in salt than deal with Brandler Galleries. Each to his own though.

There were quite a few folk looking for editioned canvases at the end of last year, the consensus seemed to be about 45-50k for a starting price, how many folk got sorted ( or had cash in the first place) i dont know, but certainly a sellers market for any of the editioned canvases. Good luck with the hunt, its a tough quest, but well worth it.

Indeed astonishing relative to any of life's necessities as well as many luxuries.  On the other hand, positively dirt cheap relative to something like this:



If I'm the beholder, either one of the editioned would emit more artistic power to my eyes and for a tiny fraction of bubbles the so called blue chip treasure.  I can't even look at that without laughing though perhaps that is indeed the point.  Apologies to my mother as I was taught not to say anything if I have nothing nice to say.
