I've bought some really nice pieces from forum members here which I usually prefer to eBay. Whilst eBay has some ridiculous prices and is plagued with flippers there are sometimes some real bargains to be had either due to poor timing, poor descriptions etc...
Sometimes I'll see auctions close to an end (or even BIN) which have struck me as great deals priced below market value. That said I rarely buy art for pure financial reasons but I'm sure there are times where a piece is available at a great price that would interest members here.
is it possible to perhaps have a sticky thread for people to post potential "bargains" or even rare pieces that don't often come up that are available on eBay (or elsewhere). Not a shameless plug your own auction thread but a genuine attempt to give members a heads up which I hope we can all self moderate.

If someone wants something badly enough then they'll already be looking out for it.
Just my humble (and selfish) opinion.

eBay Bargain Thread , by Forbidden Love on Jan 22, 2015 15:20:28 GMT 1, if you think your gonna get a good deal or notice a bargin to be had why ruin it for the person whos going for it. im sure you wouldnt tell everyone what your bidding on before its ended. someone will know about it and wouldnt want someone else posting it.
I dont have a problem with people linking what they are listing on ebay.

eBay Bargain Thread , by wishingiwaslucky on Jan 22, 2015 15:27:55 GMT 1, Personally I like this forum and joined it to get good info and proper pricing with genuine people who we can get good references from, Ebay is there for all to see and I'm sure everyone is looking there anyway, but just my opinion, I wouldnt like to start getting Ebay pieces pushed on here and then end up being mugged or buying crud, which is why I like it here. Also agree with the above comments.

It might help the seller to get the best or a better price but would likely stop the buyer from getting a bargain as it would introduce more competition.
