It is a collage on wood, resin coated. The back is signed, dated and has multiple screens pulled on it. The piece measures 7.5 x 11". Priced at $3k. It was acquired directly from Bast's studio.

I could be wrong but IMO he will eventually be recognized on this level. His work is so strange and innovative and he has brought collage art to new heights. I for one think he's under valued, but the market is what the market is. |

You got very lucky. I bought a small one last year for $900 (smaller than the one here).
Lazarides released a bunch of smaller, less interesting originals that maybe go for cheaper. More abstract and text.

Must be on canvas or huge! (even the massive, and awesome piece Africa has for sale right now is just under $10k)
